Hello sweet loves! Grab your glass of sweet tea and I’ll grab my Diet Dr. Pepper, and we can visit for awhile!

Welcome to our home! We built it 7 years ago with Signature Homes. I chose this floor plan because of the big front porch!

I loved reading a good book and lounging on my great grandmother’s front porch swing as a child. I was so happy to have a front porch big enough for this swing, and I’ve added lots of cozy pillows and a throw to make it even more comfortable.

My signature color is Loveable by Sherwin Williams. And I am SOOOOO happy you’re here!

I spy several treasures in my entry way! The dresser was a Facebook Marketplace find that I painted this bold and beautiful green. The ginger jar lamps are from a garage sale. And the mirror wall is finds from estate sales, Marketplace, and garage sales over the course of several months. That was a fun project!

I recently redid our dining room, and it’s really subtle. Haha!! I am obsessed with the black and gold wallpaper from Milton and King, and the light fixture was just the statement piece I dreamed of for this space. We eat dinner as a family here most nights.

Another fun find is this GIANT antique dough bowl. I named her Wheezy! She originally hailed from Hungary, but I found her at a little antique shop near the beach while we were on vacation.

This space is where we gather. It comfortably fits the five of us, and there’s plenty of room for friends and family to join as well. I have lots of throws and pillows, and I try to model being relaxed and making myself at home for any guests. I’ve found that if I relax and kick off my shoes and cozy up under a blanket, our guests will do the same. The more people feel at home, the more likely they are to feel comfortable sharing what’s going on in their hearts.
I wish you could come visit in person, but I’m thankful you joined me virtually today! I have some more fun projects up my sleeve for the future, so stick around for more warm and welcoming ideas!
Alieta your home is just gorgeous! I love your style and its fun to see all the different spaces. So well done!
