I love having people in my home, and combine that with the holidays, it just doesn’t get much better!! So when Old Time Pottery asked me to create a Thanksgiving Tabletop for them, I was thrilled!!! There was just one problem…
Should I go traditional? Or…
Should I go glam?
I decided to do both!!!! Haha!! So here’s a lot of fun inspiration for whatever your Thanksgiving vibe is!
Let’s start with my take on the classic traditional Thanksgiving table top. I found this gorgeous fall floral tablecloth and used it as my jumping off point. The colors were perfect, and the sunflowers inspired my centerpieces.
I created these centerpieces using Styrofoam pumpkins and beautiful faux fall florals. Old Time Pottery had such an amazing selection, I was able to find florals that went perfectly with my tablecloth. Because they were Styrofoam on the inside, I simply removed the stem of my pumpkins and inserted the florals directly into the center. So easy!
I also made mini pumpkin flower arrangements to use as place card holders. They would also be a sweet parting gift for each family member to take home with them after the festivities.
I tied the flatware with this simple French ribbon to add some visual interest.
One of my favorite tips for table tops…grab kitchen towels to use as napkins! They’re larger and so absorbent, and Old Time Pottery has so many colors and designs available.
Now on to my glam Thanksgiving!
I decided black and white and gold would keep things simple and elegant in my dining room.
Old Time Pottery has all the classic pieces I needed for entertaining at great prices! These white napkins and tablecloth let the gold candlesticks shine.
Helpful hint…If you want the ambience of candlelight but are worried about little hands getting burned, these battery operated tapers are for you! Cozy glow and your guests won’t have to worry.
These white turkey serving pieces are a beautiful finishing touch to my bar cart. Just what I need to serve some delicious turkey and gravy!
So are you team traditional or team glam for Thanksgiving? Either way, you’ll be able to find the pieces you need at Old Time Pottery!
