Guest Room Goes Coastal Farmhouse

With Lola’s high school graduation next month, our guest room is going to be busy! It needed a little refresh, and I was thrilled to partner with Old Time Pottery to create this Coastal Farmhouse guest room!

I always have fun treasure hunting at Old Time Pottery! They had so many beautiful items for spring and summer.

I started with the most important thing…really comfortable bamboo bed pillows! I want my guests to get a good night’s sleep.

Next up, I added these euro pillows with a soft grey blue ticking stripe, a pair of beaded navy coral pillows, and a striped knit lumbar pillow. I love mixing the shades of blue and lots of cozy textures!

Speaking of cozy, this soft blue throw was just what this bed needed to complete the vibe.

How darling is this little wastebasket? It could also be a planter or catchall for stuffed animals, but I knew it was perfect to use as a wastebasket here to add some shape and driftwood colored texture. I also found this small seagrass basket and blue and white trinket box to tie in the coastal farmhouse on the nightstand.

I needed a statement piece above the headboard, and wow, did this woven mirror deliver! Old Time Pottery had several different woven, rattan, and basket weave style mirrors for me to choose from, and it was a tough decision! I even asked my Instagram followers to help me decide! Haha! This one won out, and it is perfect in this space, don’t you think?

Just a few small changes from Old Time Pottery made such a difference in bringing cozy coastal farmhouse to my guest room! It’s amazing what beautiful new pillows, a soft throw, some absolutely adorable accessories, and a fabulous mirror can do for a space! Head to your local OTP and see what treasures you can find!
