Easter Cross Centerpiece

Easter cross centerpiece

I love chocolate bunnies and egg hunts as much as the next girl, but I try to have reminders of the real reason we celebrate Easter around our home because, well, I need ALLLLL the reminders.

I saw this DIY Easter Cross Tutorial on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try!

I gathered my supplies, modifying some of the items to work for me:

  • Floral Foam
  • Peel and Stick Moss
  • Wooden Planter Box
  • Jute String
  • Wooden Spindles

I tried finding sticks that were long enough to use, but struck out. Then I remembered the spindles I’d found at a garage sale!!

Y’all know I’m not handy, and I don’t do power tools! Haha!! But my sweet neighbor cut these to the right size for me to use!

Lola helped me hot glue the spindle crosses together and tie with jute string. We put each cross into a piece of floral foam.

After making the holes for the crosses in the floral foam, I removed them to assemble it all in the wooden planter. I covered the floral foam with peel and stick moss, and then reinserted the crosses.

Faux dogwood stems were the perfect finishing touch!

A simple, sweet reminder of what Jesus did for us. He is risen!!!
